Assessment Categories

In the application for the Enabling Mark, an organisation's practices and outcomes in disability inclusion will be assessed over 5 categories:

  • Leadership and Advocacy

    An organisation's values, commitment and actions taken to ensure disability inclusion within the organisation as well as promoting to the broader community.

  • Recruitment Practices

    Fair and inclusive hiring initiatives and processes. It includes customising or adjusting the job based on individual needs in relation to the job roles and responsibilities.

  • Workplace Accessibility and Accommodations

    Making changes to the physical work environment or work processes to ensure equitable access and opportunities for employees with disabilities.

  • Employment Practices

    Fair and progressive human resource practices such as equitable compensation and benefits, learning development and advancement to ensure access and opportunities for employees with disabilities.

  • Hiring Impact

    Measurement of the impact of all disability inclusion efforts on the actual hiring of persons with disabilities in the organisation.

The overall maturity level of an organisation across the 5 assessment categories would thus determine the Enabling Mark tier that the organisation will receive – Silver, Gold or Platinum, with Platinum being the highest tier.

Application Process

Applications for the Enabling Mark are open throughout the year and may take up to 10 weeks from submission date to be processed.

To ensure a smooth application process, please have the following information and materials ready before you log in:

    Your organisation's profile and active login credentials.

  2. 02. Employment Data

    Current headcount data, including records related to disability-inclusive hiring practices.

  3. 03. Supporting Documents

    Official workplace inclusion policies, adjustment initiatives, or case studies demonstrating your commitment.

    Get self-assessment results

    You will receive an email with your indicative tier based on your results. Because the accreditation journey varies by tier, we have outlined what each level means in our FAQs.

  4. 4. Assessment Session

    Assessment Session (Gold / Platinum only)

    Gold and Platinum applicants will be invited to an assessment session. An assessor from SG Enable will review and clarify the submitted information before confirming the award tier.

  5. 5. Result and validation

    Get your accreditation

    You will receive a personalised email based on your final result. This email contains your full report, e-certificate and marketing materials for your organisation to use.

  6. 6. Post-accreditation

    Receive Guided Supports

    Following accreditation, organisations can access enhanced post-accreditation support.
